Jacava Gift Box - Shaftsbury Avenue

So a week and a bit ago, I was lucky enough to win Jacava's latest giveaway on Facebook which was for the 'Shaftsbury Avenue' gift box which had four different polishes and their top coat.  I just thought I'd let you guys see the gift box since I thought you might be interested in this sort of thing.  Obviously, it makes a great gift and although it might be a little late for Christmas (you could chance it!), it'll make a great birthday present for a nail polish enthusiast.

The polishes came in this great magnetic gift box and you had to search REALLY hard through the paper to find the polishes.  The gift box was also packed into a cardboard box with loads of bubble wrap so you can be assured that your polishes will arrive in one piece.
The polishes in this particular box set are (L-R) Toffee Apple, Crimson Crush, Blueberry Muffin and Purple Passion

I've had my eye on Toffee Apple for quite a while so I was really glad it was a part of this set.  Crimson Crush looks like a great watermelon shade which I've been looking for forever since Essie Watermelon never makes an appearance at my local Boots (or whenever I decide to look for it in Boots LOL).  Blueberry Muffin matches the Pantone colour of 2014 Radiant Orchid perfectly so I can see this being used quite a lot come Spring since lilac is such a great colour for that time of year.  Purple Passion is an interesting one for me because it's what I would call a 'mid-purple', it sits in the middle of a lilac and a royal purple and I'm really interested in what sort of nail art I might do with this shade.  I reckon pairing it with gold will be PERFECTION.

If you've followed my blog for a while, you know that I've reviewed Jacava polish before and that I really enjoyed using so hopefully these will be the same.  I'll be swatching them within the next few weeks with some nail art as well so look forward to that.

Jacava have also been kind enough to provide a 15% discount code for my readers.  It can be used on single nail polish bottles (not gift boxes) but this gives you greater control over what colours you can give to someone or just buy for yourself LOL.  The discount code is '201315F' and you just enter this at the check out to get a further 15% off the already discounted polishes on the website.

I especially suggest Jacava polishes for those whose friends and family are vegan, pregnant or just health conscious as Jacava are 8-free and cruelty free, as well as being based and made in the UK.

Have you tried Jacava before, what shades do you like?  Until next time :-)
