Floral Enamel Nails

So Flails and Nails turned 1 on Saturday and since I've been working all weekend and didn't really plan ahead (I'm so silly), I wanted to do a luxe-looking mani in celebration of me sticking with this blog for an entire year!

Maybelline Marshmallow, Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Barry M Gold Foil

These nails are inspired by these Ulyana Sergeenko earrings.  She designs AHMAZING couture (her show in on tomorrow (21st) in Paris) and is one of my style icons.  If I had some sort of money, these earrings would be at the top of my list.

You can't see the floral detail all that well in the photo and I guess that is sort of the intention as it's supposed to be a subtle inlay.  I used two coats of Snow Me White followed by Marshmallow, a pearlescent white from Maybelline to create the shine of enamel, then used Snow Me White for the flower.  The gold outline adds a little extra luxury to the manicure which is somewhat compromised by my terrible cuticles (which I can only apologize for, I have some paper cuts I tried to photoshop as best as possible lol)

How do you celebrate your blog's birthday?  Let me know in the comments below and make sure to follow me on all my social media sites, until next time :-)
