I've not been lucky enough to try any of Limecrime's products but I love their packaging and brand identity. I especially love the look and finish of the Velvetine lip lacquers. As an American product, shipping can be expensive for those living outside the continental US so to find something on our own shores that can fill the gap of the Velvetine until you can afford the real thing is great in my opinion.
Atomic looks more red in the packaging but on the lips, it's more of an orange based coral, not a true red but almost there. It is VERY bright but it really is a stunning colour.
In terms of application, it took me a while to get this on my lips without it looking like a four year old had done it but this could be more about my inability to apply liquid lip lacquers than the product. It took a few minutes to dry and again, a few goes to get the coverage even but once it dried, I knew the colour wouldn't be moving from my lips any time soon.
When it did come time to take this off, it stains so I'd recommend applying this first, before your base even so that if you make a monumental mistake applying the product like I did on occasion, it can be scrubbed off without wasting any other makeup product.
