You Win Or You Die

If you recognise the reference in the title as well as in the nails then I am to presume that you are a fan of Game of Thrones and/or the ASOIAF books and as fans you might shouting at your computer screens 'But the series doesn't start for another week or so?' and to that I say, I've seen the first episode already!

As part of Belfast Film Festival, the first episode of the fourth series of the fantasy shown was showed to a select 500 people in two screenings.  It was a lottery for tickets and over 7,000 people applied and at first, I did not win any tickets but luckily for me, some people didn't claim their tickets and BFF had a sort of scavenger hunt for the remaining tickets and to cut a long story short, I got two!

So about the episode, of course I'm not going to post any spoilers but I can say that it is definitely a season opener worthy of the show.  Game of Thrones has become such an important part of Belfast and Northern Ireland as a whole since the majority of the series is filmed here and its great to see a preview of the show here.  I myself have been an extra a few times and you know the show is about to start filming because all men between 18-45 start growing beards LOL.

    I've never watched Game of Thrones (I think I might be the only one!) but I love these, so majestic! You have a serious talent.

    Oh thank you! I'd really recommend Game of Thrones, I got into it a bit late but once I started to watch it, I couldn't stop LOL

    Karen, the first episode is unreal, but now it just means I've got even longer to wait for the next one LOL. Btw, I'm doing some nails for a girl from work for her formal so I can do a wee house call for you too if you want them done :-)

    Um.... Yes?! Yes please! I'll have to wait until sometime when I'm off work though, so they don't get destroyed! My sister is getting married in June, maybe you could do my nails for the wedding? YAY :-) x
