Barry M Coconut Infusion Range* - The Nude Swatches

When a new collection drops, like the new Barry M Coconut Infusion range, swatching them all can be a bit overwhelming. You've seen my nail art using all of the bright shades from the collection but in this post, I'll be swatching the nude shades from the collection.

Coconut Infusion Nail Paints are the latest innovation from Barry M. Containing  unique blend of coconut oil and water, Coconut Infusion Nail Paints will apparently hydrate and nourish the nail while leaving a glossy gel-like finish.

All of the below swatches are three coats and no top coat. The Coconut Infusion range has the wide brush which seems to be making its way into all new collections and I'm a big fan!

First up, we have Skinny Dip. Skinny Dip is the palest shade. It's not an off-white but more like a cream. It's basically a lighter version of Lychee. If you find white nails too harsh against your skin tone, this might be a good alternative if you still want to rock the light nail trend this summer. Since the formula is thinner than the Gelly range, it dries a good deal faster. So while not as fast as the Speedys, it's a different choice for those who like the finish of Gellys but the convenience of Speedys, and this is consistent across the board.

Secondly, we have Starfish. Darker than Skinny Dip, it's another shade that is quite similar to Lychee or even Butterscotch from the latest Gelly polish drop. With Starfish, we are approaching more of a wearable nude as opposed to the brightness of Skinny Dip.

Thirdly we have Sunkissed, the perfect nude for a bronzed goddess on the beach. This will never be me LOL but it's a nice, light coffee shade that would make a great neutral mani colour for a beach holiday.

Lastly we have Tiki Hut. Now, it's not the best shade for my skin tone (ghostly pale for reference) but I think this would be a great nude for darker skin tones. It may look similar to Mocha from the Matte collection but I think it is more yellow toned.

If you're a Barry M obsessive or nail polish-a-holic in general, then I'd definitely recommend picking up a few of the new Coconut Infusion Nail Paints to give them a try. While a good few colours within the collection seem to match Barry M shades from other ranges, if you're a fan of the colour, buy it anyway and see which formula you prefer. The polishes are priced at £4.99 so the same price as the Sunset Daylight Curing polishes but you don't have to buy a special top coat. You can pick up the polishes from the the Barry M websiteBoots and Superdrug.

Which shade do you like best? Let me know in the comments below and be sure to like, subscribe and follow me on the social media sites at the side, until next time :)

  1. I love the nudes and Starfish is my fave. Also clever to split the collection into 2 posts. I never thought of that, I just have a massive one ;)
