Not Egg-sactly Egg-cellent

So for my Easter nails, I tried out this Mini Egg Tutorial by Jenny over on 10 Blank Canvases.  As you can see, mine looks a little different, and by a little different, I mean nothing like mini eggs!  At the 'dusting' stage of the tutorial, I think I didn't dilute my white enough and so went a bit heavy and so everything looks a bit more washed out rather than dusty.  I tried to make the brown spots more defined, making them too big, then I had to pop another layer of a lighter brown to make them less defined and this is what I am left with.  Although they aren't exactly the nails I was aiming for, I'm still going to wear them and pass them off as some sort of pastel, giraffe, cookie looking nail LOL.  If I have time tonight, I might have another go but we shall see.
