#BeCrueltyFree
So those who follow Barry M on facebook, twitter or instagram will know that they have launched a new nail art competition to tie in with Be Cruelty Free week.
As I'm sure a lot of you know, Barry M are very proud that none of their products are tested on animals and most products in their entire make-up range are Vegan (with a few exceptions due to the presence of beeswax).
For the competition, Barry M asks that you create 'animal friendly' nail art to be in with the chance of winning their new 'Aquarium' range, so here's my entry.
FLAMINGOS! I've been wanting to do something like this for quite a while and since the sun and some warmth has made its way to the Emerald Isle, I thought it would be a perfect time to do some tropical nail art.
I have to thank ThisIsVenice and NancyMc for creating awesomesauce flamingo nail art but this is by no means close to what they produce LOL. By the end of doing my nails, I thought to myself that I should decide whether I want to stick to a sort of cartoon aesthetic or be a little more painterly as these flamingos sit somewhere in the middle I think.
I used Barry M Nail Art pens, in black for the outline and details, white and pink for the shading and detailing. I love the fact the pink polish is called 'Pink Flamingo', it was meant to be!
So will you be sporting any animal-related nail art this week? Let me know in the comments below and be sure to follow me by the sites below, until next time :-)
