Quality Street Quilt

I'm a bit determined to use some (well A LOT) of polishes that I still haven't tried yet so I remembered I had this gorgeous purple from Jacava that was ready and waiting to be used.  I know we are technically in spring time and it should be about pastels and bright colours but it's still baltic and rainy here so I'll revel in a little wintery luxury.

Jacava Purple Promise, Blueberry Muffin and Models Own 25 Carat Gold

The colour combination of purple and gold never gets old and just screams LUXE!  I'm pretty sure I've said that before on this blog but if it's the truth, it's the truth!  The shade is a a true royal purple, more blue-toned than say Casino Royale and a touch lighter.  It's a gorgeous shade that caught many an eye during the weekend.

Apologies for some of the tip wear but I didn't get a chance to take photos of these nails for more than a day after they were done because the light in the morning before I left for work was terrible and it was dark by the time I got home.  Also, it's been a bit quiet here this week and for that I apologise, I've been struggling for ideas but hopefully this week you'll be seeing more from me and perhaps I'll have my first fashion post in the mix!

Vote for these nails on Grazia's website!

So what do you think of this shade?  Are you still wearing winter colours?  Let me know in the comments below and be sure to follow me by the following sites or Google Friend Connect, I'm so close to a few milestone figures across the sites so if you don't follow already, please so, it'll make me so happy LOL  Until next time :-)
